WAA Scholarships

Oakland High School’s Wildcats Alumni Association serves to maintain the enduring relationship of its alumni to their alma mater and each other, and to provide support for the well-being of the Oakland High School community. Each year Oakland High School’s Wildcats Alumni Association (WAA) designates a specific number of scholarships to be awarded to qualified graduating seniors. This year WAA will be awarding a $4000 Alden McElrath Wildcats Alumni Scholarship, two $500 Gee-Baranco Family Scholarship, and one $500 OHS Class of 1970 Scholarship. In addition, one $1,000 John Curtiss Scholarship for Journalism and Communications will be awarded to a student with an aspiration in Journalism/Communications.
