| Info: | Greetings OHS Class of 1970 Classmates!
Can you believe it has been nearly 55 years since we roamed the halls of Oakland High School together? In fact, it seems like only yesterday that we stood and pledged allegiance to the flag in our homerooms. It's amazing to see how far we have all come since those days of lockers, textbooks, football games, term plays, music concerts, and youthful dreams.
We will have a chance to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate the journey that brings us all back together again. We will be able to catch up on old times or exchange stories about our lives. It will be a wonderful weekend where we can reignite the friendships we forged more than five and a half decades ago. We can share the challenges we overcame, and the lessons we learned along the way. In addition, we can celebrate our successes, acknowledge our failures, and embrace the unique journeys that have shaped us into the individuals we are today. That being said,
You are cordially invited to attend Our 55th Class Reunion which will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm in the Bayview Ballroom of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Berkeley Marina located at 200 Marina Blvd., Berkeley, CA.
The afternoon will feature a No Host Bar, a buffet lunch and refreshments, presentation of a 30-minute long “THEN & NOW” photo slideshow featuring 150 of our classmates, and dancing to music that will rock you out of your chairs with songs selected, played, and mixed by DJ Roy Stone (The DJ Roy Experience) . . . so dust off your dancing shoes!
Ticket prices are $120 before June 1st and $140 before September 1st. Tickets will not be sold at the door so please plan accordingly.
We have reserved 25 rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Berkeley Marina on Friday, 9/12/25, and Saturday, 9/13/25 at a discounted rate of $209 per night plus taxes and fees. Please be sure to mention the “Oakland High School Class of 1970 Reunion” to get this discounted rate.
An After Party consisting of a No Host Lunch will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 11:30 am to 5:00 pm at Harry's Hofbrau in San Leandro located at 14900 East 14th Street, San Leandro, CA.
